About Me

Hello! I am Siobhan. Thanks for taking some time to learn more about me.

When I was a child, I met the first of many social workers who would have a positive impact on my life. He was a therapist in the clinic where my mom was receiving medical treatment. My interest in helping others sparked from my interactions with this jovial man who showed care and compassion to my entire family.
I worked diligently throughout college to receive a Bachelor of Social Work from Florida State University in 2008 and a Master of Social Work from Barry University in 2009. Then ventured into positions in the child welfare, cancer treatment, palliative care, grief, clinical therapy, and educational fields. My most recent journey was as a social work officer in the United States Air Force.
As a result of service, I gained skills in trauma-informed care, intimacy enhancement, and value-based practices. The path to Siobhan DeAnn Consulting challenged my confidence, mental health, and self-worth in the most unexpected ways. The only way I was able to make it through, was to lean on my community — those who genuinely cared about me as a person. I persevered by leaning on my community, those who genuinely cared about me as a person. This journey provided me the wisdom and the support necessary to survive this crisis period. More importantly, it allowed me to shift my focus on achieving true self-ADORATION.
Can you imagine believing that you do not have a community to lean on during the lowest times of your life? My mission is to foster the idea that every person has the strength to live a life that honors their values through education, mental wellness, self-care, and community.
